Re: F2 equivalent on mac version 9
There are various keyboard shortcuts that involve the F2 key in Windows. The basic functionality of the F2 key (selecting the text) is the same in the Mac version.

For a full list of shortcuts, please review the keyboard shortcuts that are located under the Help tab.

I’d suggest that F2 is not a very familiar keystroke for Mac users, although having used MM Win previously I found it myself purely by guessing, even if I have to use fn-F2 on my keyboard to achieve it—which is even less desirable (needs both hands!).

How about something involving the Return key like most of the other editing functionality? Option-Return maybe? (⌥↩)
