failed to open map

I have used
Mindjet on my Nexus 10 (4.3) for a long time and use it quite often. My default file
format is xmind.

For some
time now I cannot open my files any more. I get "failed to open map"
and "selected map could not be opened". It makes no difference if
they had been synced to Owncloud or not.

The very
same file sent by email to my HTC One S (4.1.1) opens perfectly. After editing
it on the One and sending it back to the Nexus, it still does not open there.

sent/copied to Windows, it opens perfectly with Xmind portable. After editing
it here and sending it back, if opens now even on the Nexus.
also fails to open these mindmaps from my Nexus.

Can you
please help me to make Mindjet files reliable on my Nexus?

Regards. Ralph

Hello Ralph,

There are some known issues with opening Xmind files in Mindjet for Android when the map contains certain elements. Running the file through Xmind Portable may be required when you run into this issue. (Mindjet Web/ProjectDirector) only handles .mmap, which is our native file extension.

Hello Marian,

Could you please be a bit more precise? Which elements are known to possibly cause problems? Having this knowledge, I could perhaps avoid this trouble.

I had just used one central topic, one subtopic and a chain of 8 subtopics (overall 13 elements). If you ́d need the map for tests, you can have it.

You know, the strange thing is that I created the last effected Xmind-mindmap using Mindjet, left the map simply to save it and in the next second I could not re-open it.
