Fastest way to create list of links?

I have a map with about 2400 topics on it. I have a PowerFilter that shows me a particular set of topics that I am interested in.

What I would like to do is find the easiest / fastest way to create a new topic that has a link in it for each of the results of that PowerFilter map... sort of like a poor man's index.

I know how to create the list of links manually but with about 50-100 resulting topics in the PowerFilter, it seems like an unnecessary amount of work to click on each individually and make a link in the new summary topic's Notes with the entry.

Any shorter way to get it done?

Hello Mike - did you look at MindManager macros yet? If you are comfortable with a bit of scripting, this kind of job would not take long. I think you are past the breakeven point. If I need to do something on ten or twenty topics then macros do not pay dividends, but if it is 100 or more and might need repeating, it is worth the investment to create a macro. Of course this discounts the initial learning curve and assumes familiarity with programming, so is not an option accessible to everyone. Maybe we could have a kind of "Mechanical Turk" where developers quote acceptable amounts for one-shot macros for heavy data manipulation.

Hi Nick, Actually I have not had a chance to look at them, but I sort of ran out of time to figure it out and ended up (ugh) doing it the old fashioned way :( Thanks for the feedback though, I will keep it n mind and one of these days I will take a look at the macro documentation that I have and see what fun could come out of it...
