I have Map A open.
File > Open an Existing > Double left click Map B or use the dropdown to Open
Map A remains open.
Go via Library and it works.
Using IE 11.0.9600.16438

Now I can;t get it to work via Library either.
Trying a map in a different folder doesn't help.

It's getting weirder.
Map A and Map B are now identical. Map B has become Map A. How did that happen?

I can reproduce this: open map A, then open map B from File> Open and the first map A just stays there

I'm not sure I follow this thread. I am using Chrome. Only one map can be open in the Web Client, therefore >Close and >Open second map in Web client. First map remains as before. Both maps open in MM Desktop & I see who is logged in to Edit, and can co-edit from Desktop and Web client

I can have multiple maps open each in their own tab or window. Use the drop down next to the file name in the Library to "open map in new window".
But this thread is opening a new map in an existing tab.

I have just been helping a friend. He had a go with MindManager for Windows and possibly Connect a few years ago. Then he changed jobs and no longer had access to license.
This evening he opened a trail Project Director account, create three maps and encountered the same problems as outlined above when using the File > Open existing map tool. He was using IE.
Using the Library to open existing maps and open them in a new window produced the same result: another map was displayed even if the file name in the header was the intended map.
I coached with the work arounds e.g.F5, Reload page, go to end of URL and press enter. These did work.
By now he had spent an hour with this issue and said "I couldn't buy this product".
I emailed him the desktop download and said the Mindjet Files on the desktop is fine.
I had to go through the same issue when training a new client on Friday.
When will this embarrassing bug be fixed?
