Floating topics refuse to float!

I am a lawyer in South Africa and I am making use of Mindjet for work purposes. There is one frustrating aspect about Mindjet that I hope you can improve in an update: Floating topics are not really what they are supposed to be. The only serve their purpose when you keep them far away from the central topic or sub-topics. When one wishes to place a floating topic closer to the central topic or one of the sub-topics, it automatically links up with the central topic or sub-topics, whether one likes it or not! It would help a lot if a floating topic will really be a floating topic in the sense that it will remain where one wishes to put it, even if close to the central topic or a specific sub-topic. The same problem applies wiht the floating shapes in the "library". They link up, whether you want them to do so or not. It will be a great improvement if you could fix this. Floating topics should be what they are supposed to be. One should have the option to put them where you want them to be and create you own links if you want them.

If you are talking about the PC version: hold down shift whilst moving floating topics. You will be able to move them close to the central topic and others. They can not overlap other objects and all objects have a invisible protected area around them.

You can also float an attached topic by holding down shift and moving it
