Now that Mindjet is moving to a "subscription model" how are we users of Mindmanger
going to be assured the ability to maintain complex "CLASSIFIED/CONFIDENTIAL" mindmaps that due to national/company regulations CANNOT be placed on international servers ??

I am concerned that Mindmanager 2012 will be the last standalone version of MindManager especially as it seems that Microsoft will break windows compatibilty in 5 years time etc..

Dear concerned user,

We've got you covered! MindManager 2012 will not be the last standalone version that is offered by Mindjet that enables you to produce "CLASSIFIED/CONFIDENTIAL" maps. In fact, Mindjet for Windows, version 11, our latest update continues to offer this capability (as will future versions). We have NO plans to remove the desktop products ability to create and save local maps.

Mindjet also offers "Mindjet on-premise" which is another option for corporations like yours to host Mindjet maps on their private (SharePoint) servers behind firewalls. Employees can edit protected maps with browsers or use the Mindjet for Windows desktop application.

Does this address your concern?
