Gantt view: Add colums / E-Mail: Follow up conversation

MindManager12:
1) Gantt view: Can i add additional columns?
2) Project management: How to add "costs, money" (USD, Euro) e.g. for necessary investments (car, machines, rent etc., not labor costs) into an arm.

So i can sum up the single costs to a total sum to get an overview how much money i need to finish the project.

3) How can i follow up/sync one specific e-mail conversation?
My workflow:
I sent an e-mail to my customer. I mark the tree/arm where i want to put this e-mail into MM. I use the Outlook 2010 MM add-in and sent the e-mail to MM.
Now the e-mail is attached the the correct tree/arm.
But how can i follow up the answer of my customer, or a longer conversation. Have to move manually the e-mails to MM?

Thanks for help.

Your question 2)
This was available when Gantt was still done by the JCVGantt addin. I am pretty confident Mindjet will bring this in again in the next release.

Your Question 1)

Please explain a bit further what you mean?

In principle it is a View, you do the work in Mapformat. There you can add tasks and details of those tasks.

If you are in Gantt view there is a separate zoom function at the bottom,
You can than see days instead of months etc.

Hi Ary,

thanks for your super fast reply.

1) Now there are only colums for task, start, due, status, resources. I need an additional column to fill in "costs" e.g. USD, Euro

2) o.k.

Thanks Tom, this would be a really great future, otherwise you would have to keep marking the conversations in outlook, witch doesn't make sense to me...!

I am sorry to agree.
Mindjet had it all available when they purchased the JCVGantt add-on.

They decided to implement only part of this add-on in MIndjet for windows desktop.

The request is in the idea topics list for many months now. See:
https://community.mindjet.com/mindjet...

The more people vote for this, the better the chances are that it wil be possible.

An alternative solution for you and your clients could be: (in Mindjet 11)

Use Mindjet tasks for communication on the tasks at hand.
You can make a mindmap as always. With task info to a topic. Then send it to tasks. It appears as a new task with the option to add followers. That could be your client even if he has no mindjet license.
You client now can see all changes enhancement etc in tasks. EMails etc can be attached to the task.
and you could yammer as extra option to keep him into the loop

Play around a bit with it and you may find this even easier to use than your earlier idea..
