Has anyone used MindManager for Decision Analysis? I asked a year ago. Michael Deutch said he'd follow up. But no reply yet.

Here is a simple description of simple Decision Analysis.  I am hoping an expert might set up a template for me to use:

I expect MindManager may be able to handle this.  It would be valuable if it could.

The below link is to a textbook on Decision Analysis: "Decision Analysis for the Provessional"

Sorry Peter, I haven't heard anything and this slipped off my radar. I'll take a look at the links that you've provided. They may be able to be turned into a new template or two.

Michael,

Thank you.  very much for looking not this again.  I downloaded a free 30-day trial of MindManager and spent yesterday building part of a 'Decision Analysis tree.  I now think it can do the calculations (not 100% sure yet).  But It is very cumbersome unless it can be easily made to dig the input data out of an Excel spreadsheet.  I don't know how to make that work.  Therefore, a template would be great.

I can send you the map I've made so far including the inputs (manually entered) and the calculations.  It is giving the correct answer, but ... I had to compromise because I couldn't work out how to multiply by property in a great-grand-parent.

I can also send an Excel file with the input data.  I need to connect to the Excel file and make it dynamic so that if I move or copy and paste a sub-tree all the formulas change to draw in the correct inputs.  How do I do that?

Can you tell me whereI can email the MindManager file and Excel file to you??
