Have you solved an auto-calc crash problem?

Auto-calc has never worked on my Sony Vaio 32-bit Vista PC. Sadly even the latest and greatly enhanced v14 for Windows has the same issue: the program always crashes whenever I try to change the numerical inputs to an existing auto-calc tree. The program is fine otherwise (I think). The nice people at Mindjet tried to replicate the problem when auto-calc first came out, but couldn't.

If at all possible, I'd really like to avoid the classic lengthy diagnostic process of disabling, then re-enabling every single other program and service on my PC, one after the other, to isolate the issue by a process of elimination.

Has anyone in the community had the same problem and resolved it?

Many thanks!

Hi David,

Can you send me a map example that causes the crash? One of the developers will take a look and see if we can diagnose something further here on our end.

Thanks,

Hi Robert, I would suggest that you open a case with our Technical Support team so we can investigate this issue further. We have had a few reports of this issue and have not yet isolated what the cause is. You can open a case using the following url: https://secure.mindjet.com/app/suppor...

I have not resolved this issue. I will open a case. Thanks. It seems to appear more frequent when an object is copied and renamed. After that some of the elements work and other will crash when updating the values. Once it starts to crash it is reproducible.

Looks like this week's service package has finally solved my autocalc problem. Great news. Thanks!
