Hi, i have a question. Is it possible to change the color of a branch without changing the color that connects the branches?

Line colour (the branches) and the topic shape border or line are linked. Changing line colour in a Main Topic will push the colour back up the branch to the Central Topic and set the colour for all sub topics. A Subtopics line colour sets the colour for all sub-branches and topics.

The work around is to use the Shapes in the Library by either
  • Opening the Library task pane tab > Shapes
  • Design > Topic Shape > Image from Library
These Topic shapes are unaffected by line colour settings.

You can right click a Shape in the library, Open it in your image editor, change colour and save a new shape.  Your image editor needs to open and save .emf files.

You can use other image files types but they won't scale like the vector graphics of an emf or wmf file.
