I have tried to find this in Gantt view, but als the name tells us.... that is just a different view of the tasks that are in your MindManager map. I use that most of the time as communication means for  management to understand the consequences of their requests ;-).

If you switch to the Map view however, you can select all tasks and than go to advanced tab, Sort and Sort options.

That should do it.

Tried some more and If you have sorted the way you want it and next switch to Gantt view again it shows the gantt as you sorted it.

Solved?

I tried to rebuild your map and tried some variations

switched to map view, selected all, sorted on startdate and switch to gantt again

As you see it sorts correct per sub project.

But not across all sub  projects.
I tried including roll up task info, and milestones but no success

I also tried to select all tasks and copy paste them into a new temporary map.

That works -as a workaround -

thanks - this is really a workaround... But not a solution. I wish Mindjet will spend more functionallity in the gantt view next version ...

The Gantt chart reflects the underlying hierarchical structure of the map, even if the topics that tasks are assigned to are not themselves roll ups or milestones. I'm not sure that the next version changes this, but according to the preview it will show the critical path in the Gantt view and offers a new timeline view which might also be helpful.
