How do I remove circles from the lines connecting topics? (i.e. back to "the old way"?)

Hello

How can I get rid of the small circles that are on the lines connecting topics?
i.e. I want my map to look like "the old way" (2 or 3 years ago?)

e.g. If I go: right-click on a topic  ==> Format Topic ==> Subtopics Layout [tab] ==> Line stye
I can change the lines to subtopics of the current topic. But how to I get rid of the little circles?
Or is this no longer possible?

With thanks

If you go to Detail in the View tab on the ribbon you can deselect Main Topic Handles - though as the name suggests, this removes the handles only from the lines between the central and main topics.

Some of the templates such as Flowchart and Concept Map don't have topic handles, mainly because the topic lines are actually relationship lines.

Hi Alex
Thanks that worked.
But what I really want is to remove the horizontal sections of each connection line completely.

Is that possible?
(From memory that is what previous versions of MindManager had, no?)

Cheers

I checked in MM vs 2012 and this was possible indeed - for the lines between central and main topics.

In MM vs 2017 Mindjet selected the more elegant layout / although this is a matter of taste ;-)
