How to import / Paste "Multiple Images" as SEPARATE Sub-topics / floating topics

I've 2 issues actually ->

Problem 1- >
In a word document i have
T-1  (H-1 style)
     Image1 (in H-2 style)
T-2
     Image2
T-3
     Image3

I want to import it in Mindmanager so that the Image1,2,3 appear as sub-topics to T1,T2,T3, which is Not working.

Could anyone suggest some work-around to Import OR EVEN SIMPLY PASTE "Multiple" images in MindManager , so that i can organize them in MindManager.

There are around 500 images.

PS - Please don't assume that i'm going to organize an image library. These images are actually some portions cut from some text-material. (OCR is not an options)

Problem 2 ->
I have a table with 500 rows and 5 columns -> (One column has an image)
I want to import the table in such a ways so that EACH table row with 5 columns appear as a sub-topic or floating topic in Mindmanager

PS - I dont' want to make any edits after pasting them to Mindmanager. I just want to re-organize them.

Could anyone please suggest some way to solve above two challanges.

I haven’t played with this for a while, but in my experience MM does not handle image import from Word particularly well. As you discovered, if Word heading styles are applied to the images they are ignored when the document is imported; the only way to make this work is to apply the normal style to the paragraphs containing the images, in which case MM will place the them in the notes of the topic created from the preceding heading.

I have however discovered a potential bug with this. When I try it only some images are imported while others fail to do so for no apparent reason. Alternative techniques such as importing multiple paragraphs with images, copying and pasting them or control-dragging them also do not appear to work; at best only one image will be pasted and the rest ignored.

Importing from a Word table with images in one of the columns produces similar results to importing a document with heading styles. The first column is imported as a topic and the rest of each row becomes a single-row table in that topic’s notes, with the image in one of the cells. That’s if you’re lucky, because the same irratic behaviour I described earlier also affects table imports, at least in my experience.

I haven’t tried the techniques I’ve discussed in earlier posts to import tables directly from Excel with tables with multiple images but I suspect the result will be the same; at best the images will be imported into topic notes and at worst some or all won’t be imported at all.

@Alex,

Thanks,
Yes this is the problem that heading-style images are ignored and put into Notes
and copying Multiple images and Directly pasting them into MM - pastes only First image

And if you think that there is no work-around to solved any of the 3 scenarios attached with this message using MM, Could you please suggest any other system which May solve this thing [like PersonalBrain etc], as i need to do same kind of work very frequently.
Solving any ONE of the attached 3 scenarios would do fine.

@ARY,
Thanks,

Please find attached the 3 scenarios discussed above [left hand side is what i have and right-hand side is what is required, For now I've pasted them in MM by-hand one-by-one]

If you need to simply get the images into the Map as a Topic with the image contained within it, can you not simply select the image files in Windows Explorer, Copy them and then Paste them onto a new Topic. You can then simply drag the new Image Topics to their desired location in the Map.

Another option would be to add the images you require to the MindManager Image Library. Once in the library you can then place them onto Topics using drag-and-drop.

In addition to Nigel's suggestion
You go File-> Options -> Package Folders-> New->Name the package-> select the folder with  the images using the Path->
for resource types-> select Images since else you will have a mess with icons andimages etc etc.
CLICK OK

Now you have all images available in MindManager under the library tab (right hand side of the screen)
You cannot place them into the map in One Go. but this is atleast quicker.

Hi ARY,

Thanks, You seems to be visionary (one who can forsee the things which are going to be needed in future for Me),

Yes i would need to implement your above suggestion very soon - where i would need to drag-and-drop 'a limited number of images from among a Particular SET of images' and then i would have it already with me :-) - so i would first include THAT SET of images and then would choose and pick-up the required imageS (at that time) by using your suggestion.

Thanks Again.
