How to share (not duplicate) same resources among multiple projects (or maps)

The reality is that one resource can work in more than one project at a time. How does Mindmanger manages sharing resources in multiple maps (one map,one file, right?). I am not looking to copy the same list of resources to another map. What I want is to manage the (over/under)utilized resources among multiple projects (maps)i.e. one resource can work 8hrs a day, ay one particular day, he has being allocated 5hr to project#1 and 4hrs to project#2. Can Mindmanager tell if this resource is overutilize? Thanks.

This is an excellent request for improval.

In fact, many years ago the Gantt facilities were covered by an Addin called JCVGantt made by Canadian developer Jean Claude Vachon.
In that Addin resources were tracked in more than one project and you could assign cost and prices to resources to calculate project estimated cost and real cost.
Mindjet purchased the addin and integrated it in MindManager. This is a good thing. They however left out the resources part. And for some unknown reason, it never was repaired.

And -since you mention Mindjet Tasks...
Also many years ago, when the first cloud apps came along there was an app called Cohuman.
It was extremely handy with resources and even made suggestions to team members which task they should do first in order to keep every resource working for optimal results.
Mindjet purchased Cohuman, and turned it into Mindjet Tasks.
Mindjet Tasks is a well working system, but for some reason, - never disclosed that reason to the users - Mindjet took out this unique functionality for resources.

And if you are a user of MindManager for Enterprise, you have GanttPro.
This offers several extra's over the standard Gantt view, but still lacks resource management as it could and should be.

My expectations are that Mindjet now it has done a lot on the visual part with many different and useful views, finds the time to dig up the old code and integrate it again into the system.
With that MindManager's project management facilities will become up to standard again.

Ary, thanks for your quick response. Hope Mindjet comes quickly with an upgrade to resource management for multiple projects as well as Cloud collaboration with an upgrade to MindjetDirector.
