How to start MindManager from Microsoft Teams

MindManager files cannot be opened within the Microsoft Teams app. The only option I found so far is to associate the file open command with a Zapier service.
This is not satisfying. There should be an option to open MindManager files directly in Teams like Word and Excel files.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Hi Urs,

I dont see any options in teams to change the file association.

Here are a couple of alternative solutions for you to consider -

1. Install the MindManager Server App for SharePoint Application (Requires a MindManager Enterprise license). All files stored in Microsoft Teams use SharePoint as the storage backend. Our SharePoint application allows you to Views maps in the browser and there is also a command within the application to 'Open in MindManager'.

2. Add the SharePoint Document library as a Place in MindManager. You can then open any file stored in MS Teams/SP directly in MindManager.

Best,
-Marian

We are doing this (until an update comes from either MS or MindJet).  Open from within MM and remember to check-out and check-in (top left of map when it opens)

Do all Team members need to have a MindManager license? I tried to share html-version, but the links did not work. Best regards, Ola Flesland

Good to hear!  Please look at OneDrive integration too  - Im having a lot of trouble with maps that are stored on OneDrive crashing or losing sync.

Thanks!

Thanks, I've reported that you are having issues with OneDrive to QA. Is there any way to consistently reproduce the issues you are having that you can describe so QA can replicate the issue?
