If you are using MindManager on a single monitor, start MindManager in a window rather than full screen. Open up both maps, click on the tab for one map and simply drag it off the MM window. It should become a second window and you can then drag topics between the two maps.
If you have two monitors you can open MindManager full screen on one monitor and drag the second map to the other monitor.
There are a couple of limitations. You can't have more than two windows and the MM ribbon and toolbar stay on the first window, which is confusing.

It is possible to drag and drop topics from one map to another and have more screens open at the same time.
if you start 2 instances of the mindmanager software and open 1 map in the first and another in the second. You now have two active mindmanager apps working each in their own window.
You can select a topic keep your mouse button down and move you mouse to the other window and release it where you want it.
I have tested this with a MM 2017 and a MM2018 version open and it works fine.
( Since I train a lot I have about 8 different versions on my laptop with no problem.

i do fully agree with this request. Being on the road with my laptop frequently, this would be an ideal added feature.
