Normally I end the walkthrough view via the button "end walkthrough".
But when I used ALT+TAB to switch to another application and switched back to Mindjet again, all the buttons are 'gone'.
I have to close Mindjet (using ALT+F4) or I have to hide the windows taskbar, but is there not another way?
I tried the ESC button, but that did not work.

Strange that the buttons are gone. Which version of windows are you on, I didn't experience this in Win 7.
I was thinking that the ESC key should take you out of this mode too. I'm going to talk with the designer about this.

It happens (in Windows 7) when you Alt tab to the desktop.
As long as you alt tab to other applications the buttonbar at the bottom is visible.

Does work for me on Win 7 as well, however when I alt+tab to the desktop and back to MindManager in Walkthrough it will show the Walktrough buttons and the Windows Taskbar stacked on each other

Alt Tab to the desktop is fine for me even when running MIndhet 11 in the extended monitor (where my past experience isthat it does not behave as well as on the primary monitor).

It seems that the walkthrough mode maximises to the full desktop size and disregards the taskbar, even if the taskbar is locked in place. I have found it easier to locate the taskbar on the side of the screen rather than across the bottom of the screen. The walkthrough buttons are still visible after Alt+Tab to the desktop, but you lose a bit of the map behind the taskbar.
