How do I jump to a label in a map or whatever happened to bookmarks?

Didn't the version before MM14 have bookmarks? I seem to remember a way that I could use a keystroke combination to move to the next bookmark (or was it label?) but can't find that feature anymore. It would be helpful to be able to jump to one or two spots in a map from anywhere and then go back to where I was. Is this possible?

I think the term "bookmark" disappeared several versions ago.

However the current version has labels, tags and icons which can be used in a similar way, though I don't know if there is keyboard shortcut anymore.

To use labels, add one to a topic using the label dialogue box then click anywhere else in the map. Then when you click on the label to bring up the label box you can click on one of the existing label names listed under the "existing labels in this map" to go straight to that label (don't click on add or modify if you happen to have a topic highlighted). You can have only one unique label per topic.

To use tags create some in the Map Index pane and apply them as required to topics. You can add multiple tags to each topic from the General Tags group - each of the other tag or icon groups allows you to have one each unless you turn off Mutually Exclusive for that group . Unlike labels, tags and icons can be applied to more than one topic and each topic can have multiple tags and icons.

The Marker Index pane should now list all the tags and icons and which topics are associated with them (expand each group if required using the + symbol to see the topics). All you have to do now is click in the Marker Index pane on the name of a listed topic to go straight to that topic in the map.
