I have a project in Mindjet Action, and would like to link my project map to it. The map is stored in Mindjet Connect.

Is it possible to upload/link a map from Connect to Action?

You can right-click on a file in the Files dashboard and select "Copy as link", or right-click on the central topic of a Connect map and select "Copy as Hyperlink".

The former is a link to the map file, and the latter is a link to a specific branch within the map.

Either can then be pasted into a comment and will become an active hyperlink when re-displayed.

Thanks Nick! Tested it, and it worked :)

However, this will now only be visible in the specific task/post. Thie means I will have to browse through the tasks/posts to re-locate the map...

Is there a way to make the map listed as an "attacment", so it will be easily accessible in the menu "Files attached to tasks in this project"?

This is a good question. At the moment it seems that files attached to projects, files attached to topics in maps, and files stored in the Files dashboard are three independent locations. I can't see a way to directly share the same file between them.

For clarity and version control, it might be best to only use the Files dashboard, and always create a folder to match each project. My apologies if I have missed an obvious function or usage trick, and I hope someone can point it out for us.

Thanks again for your quick reply, Nick!

I agree, but it would be really good to have this functionality (if we've not missed it).
It is possible to link maps that ar shared i.e. in Dropbox, bu tI would prefer to have all the maps stored in Mindjet Connect :)
