How do I control the appearance of a maps such that all branches go in one direction only? For small maps I often find it easier to read and present them, if all branches go off to the right only instead all around...
Such "format adjustments" used to be trival in earlier versions, but even >1.5yr after switching to the ribbonized version I still often have trouble to achieve such supposedly minor changes with MM9.
There isn't by any chance some add-on that brings back the menus? For Office several such tools exist and occasionally they are life-savers...

Aah - found it! Format => Growth => Right Tree.
So, obviously there is another bug, since that option occasionally is disabled - wjhich is why I couldn't find it before. Selecting a subtree only (instead of the central node) it suddenly became available and then re-selecting the center it remained active (i.e. non-grayed out). But it *was* grayed out before, when I searched that option (with the center node selected!)
