Is it possible to export in HTML5 just one branch and children in the new release 17.1
I tried to do this but all the MAP is transferred even if I just select one branch

Right now It can only be done by right clicking the branch and select the Send Topic(s) To option.
You then are requested to create a small map with just that branch to export to HTML5.

But using a filter exports the whole map, including the filter (Quick filter), so that is a solution. Just toggle the filter on/off in the browser. Very nice!

Yes, it looks like the Power Filter works in the export as well so this could be a solution. Using the Show Branch Alone function (F4) however, does not translate to the export.

At least you are sure your audience gets just what you want them to and not more.
And you may keep this branch-map for later projects? think about combining it with the Map Roll-UP function ;-)

There appear to be two solutions to this, depending on whether you want to filter the map or use show branch alone.
-
Using a filter. Create the map and then filter it and create the HTML 5 export file. Open it to check that filter has been applied to the map then follow the instructions here or in my post here to remove the toolbar container line from the HTML file and resave it.
The HTML 5 map should now open in the filtered state minus the toolbar containing the button which allows users to apply or remove the filter. Therefore, while technically the whole map has been exported, there isn't an easy way for end users to access the unfiltered map.

Using show branch alone. You need 2017.1 or better to do this. Create the map and then use the new dashboard map feature to create a new map. selecting only the desired branch(es) - see my post here if you need help to do this. Then delete the button to the right of the topic that links the rolled up branch back to the original map, expand the map to show all sub-topics and export as an HTML file.
While this approach means that you do have to create a second map, this dashboard map will be refreshed every time it is opened. This means you only need to create it once; whenever the source map is changed the changes will be reflected in the dashboard map and will therefore appear whenever the HTML file is re-exported.
