Hyperlink excel spreadsheet reference cells to topic in mindjet

I'm unable to link my Excel 2010 spreadsheet cells in either an external or internally embedded spreadsheet in a mindjet map to a mindjet topic. I'm running on Windows 7 64bit. The excel add in for mindjet does not appear either.

Hyperlinking cells in a tab worksheet in an excel workbook will save a ton of time.
Any suggestions?

Hello GBB

Could you describe the steps you are using? Linking to topics normally works by right-clicking on a topic and selecting "copy as link", which yields a hyperlink address than can be used in a variety of other clients. You can create a hyperlink from an Excel cell to a map topic this way, so maybe the issue is related to the embedding of the spreadsheet.

The Excel add-in in MindManager is active, but in Excel itself you also have an add-in setting, which must be activated.
I think it is in File>Options>Add-ins (I have a Dutch version):
