I open a single map and saved it. Closed MindManager and reopened. The map was not opened for me.
As a result of this defect, this version of software is pretty useless, as I work with an average of 9+ maps open at the same time and it is a pain to reopen all of them. I contacted MindJet and demanded a partial refund as this version is pretty useless for me (Date of purchase 11/2015).
This was their response:
"Thank you for contacting Mindjet Support. I was able to receive an update from team here at Mindjet. The reopen map bug has been resolved in our next update. As for when we are launching this updating, we still don't have a concrete date as we are working out other bugs with the software.
I remember you asked for a possible partial refund and I have discussed this with my Manager. Unfortunately we would not be able to process this refund.
We appreciate your patience as we try to release this update as soon as possible.
Been with MindJet for many years, but now thinking of switching to their competitors such as: iMindMap or XMind.
Note to MindJet Product Management: "Listen to your customers, or you wont have any."
Agreed with comments and frustrations. I just upgraded...find the lack of presenting files opened is surprising and taking this long to fix is disturbing. Considering go back to earlier version. I am interested in why the problem and so long to fix.
Over the years I have found this a great application...but also one that could be much more in terms of integrating with other products, client platforms, etc. Running into problems like this tend to suggest to me you all have difficulty on keeping your ship floating...so I hold back on ideas that likely would help your business and my use of Mindjet. Implications of this list is more important than you all recognize...
MindManager 2016 SP1 will be available soon (this month) and this issue is addressed in the update. There are also some key improvements and several other bug fixes in MindManager 2016 SP1 as well.
