I moved my maps to another computer and lost the notes!

What to do when moving files to another computer? I made a backup of the map folder, but it seems that all the notes, icones and preferences are lost! I was researching and found out that it is necessary to save the ENU folder also. But I didn't save them! Especially the notes are very important to me, and I would like to recover them, if it is possible.

It seems to me that the notes are still in the maps, but the problem is the changing of paths. Is there a way to solve the problem and recover my notes? I don't mind about the icons, but the notes I would like to recover.

I really know very little about notes within MM, but with other MS apps, if the notes are links to other files, then the directory structure must be duplicated and the linked items populated on the other computer. For example, MS Project works this way.  Best of luck!

Problem SOLVED! The notes are still in the maps. What happened is that the links between topics were broken, because the directory structure has been modified. I changed the names of the folders, to match the old structure, and the links are working again!
