I find it amazing how the Mindjet team that provides answers remains so cool.

I was among the first Apple Mac users in 1984. I always loved the product although for business reasons I had to move to MSWindows. Fortunately my wife bought a Macbook so I can enjoy myself every now and then (when she allows it;-)

The Mac user society has always been a frontrunner on technology and enthousiasm. They also remained polite to people who -did not get it yet -

For this reason I am absolutely amazed by the hooligan style of several mac users in the mindjet community. There are too many examples to mention.

The fact remains that the Mindjet team remains cool and friendly, whereas I would have exploded.

For that I offer my praise to you all.

It is clear to me that the Mac community here are reaching boiling point, and whilst an abrasive/hooligan style is not the most professional way of raising an issue I can sense that some people are just totally bewildered at the situation.

It comes down to expectations. Back in 1984 I was writing PC software products and the average user knew that living with software was 'painful' - there's no way the software I wrote then (or the support we offered) would be acceptable today.

And I think that is at the heart of the exasperation many feel around MindManager on Mac - we're currently confronted with an experience that we find unacceptable today.

Personally, I feel there is simply no excuse for not having your product tested & enhanced ready for a major release of OS X. We all knew it was coming, as developers we've had access to code for months. Any issues should have been identified in the Labs months ago, certainly before 10.8 was released.

Whilst I agree that the MindJet support team are professional, that's what I expect from any organisation who take my money (I've been a customer for many years).
