I have an account but no personal folder

Another Connect free user has invited me to their account. I can log in via the web or MindManager 2012 and access their maps in their folder. I cannot create a map or move to my own folder to create a map.

I have reported this to support.

Problem solved. An invitation to someone else's account does not create an account for you. I went through the create a Mindjet Connect account process with the same email address and the account was created. Now I can see the folder I am a guest in and my own.

Go to http://www.mindjet.com/connect and click Join Free.
Don't fill in the form, sign in at the top of the page.

I have the same problem.But when I try to the account with confirm the email address , it just lead me to the page "setup account". Then something went wrong.

Can you give me a little more detail as to the problem you are currently experiencing? What happened when you got to the setup account page? Any further information would be helpful. Thank you!

This time, the problem get changed. When I clik the button in the confirm email , it jump to the log in page. After I input my email and the password, it jump to the vision app, with everybutton is grey. By the way, my account is aaron@honhot.com. Thanks a lot for you help.

Dear Brittney ,

Thanks a lot for you kindness help.

I used the account "test liu" to invite the account "aaron liu" to join the mindjet connect. After I signed up with account "aaron liu", I got the confirm letter

1. I click the button in the confirm email.



2.I was led to log in page



3.I was loged in.The fold is empty.

But when I sign up with the email "aaron@honhot.com", it said "We found you email address. Welcome back". That means the email can not have its own account with Connect Basic rights?

This is EXACTLY the problem I am experiancing. Like aaron, I was invited by another user account to view/edit files using stan.shaw@pito.bc.ca . However, when I created my account in response to the invitation, I could only view those shared files. I've tried all the steps aaron has done. It didn't work.

If you could please give my account at stan.shaw@pito.bc.ca the abillity to upload and share files in my own folder, it would be greatly appreciated. Right now, I'm left with the impression you are penalizing new users by not being able to fully use MindConnect, simply because someone invited me to view their map.

I have had a similar problem. Only, when the people I invited to join the map, and create an account, they are suddenly removed from viewing the map, and their folder is empty. How do I adress this problem?

Are the people who you are inviting accepting your invitation and creating an account from there or do they already have existing accounts? Thank you!
