Images still not appearing in Notes in exported SWF or PDF

Images in Notes "break" and the entire Note contents do not appear in an exported SWF or PDF.  Is there a workaround?

Why allow images to be inserted into Notes if they can't be seen by map recipients?  This was a limitation I encountered years ago and am surprised it's not fixed yet.  MindManager is an AWESOME tool and I'm pitching it as a solution for building Performance Support for a couple hundred employees so they can follow written processes and procedures for work which involves using several software programs.  Having screenshots available to them is vital to their success.  At present all I can use MindManager for in this project is the decision points, then when they get down to their procedure they'll have a link to open a pdf, rather than their procedure embedded in the Notes.

Hi Cheryl,

We have encountered some issues with the flash technology so we're working on a longer term plan to address this and other related issues.

In the interim, it is possible for anyone / everyone to use an expired trial to open your MindManager files in a read only mode. The notes will still work and the images will be visible.

Thanks,
Michael

Great!  I'm so happy to hear a fix is on the agenda.
Is using an expired trial preferable to using MindManager Reader 7.0?  I found that potential workaround after my original post.
Thank you Michael!

MindManager Reader 7.0 may not support display of more recent features e.g. Calculator topics, spreadsheets, multiple hyperlinks and attachments.

Hi Cheryl,

The fix will take some time. Andrew is correct, the reader will not necessarily support the newer features that have been released after the reader was released. The expired trial solution will always show the full features up to that release. It is the most reliable way to ensure that the content you created is the same as the content being viewed by others.

Best,
Michael

Has this been fixed yet.  My users are senior management and cannot be hassled with downloading expired trials.  I just need the images, nothing else.

ETA?

Hi Amy

Mindjet have not added this functionality to the PDF/SWF export.  If you need to share notes with images to non-MindManager users export to Word or the Web Static or Dynamic Outlines (the Overview Map in these exports will click through to the notes and their images.

The download is just the standard MindManager install which turns into a viewer if not licensed after 21 days.
