Import bookmarks from webbrowser

Is there a way to import all or many bookmarks from the web browser (e.g. Chrome or even an other one) in one go? One by one is not a way, because we need hundreds of bookmarks and this many times. Or is there a way to do this from the HTML backupfile, Chrome and any other browser can create. Thank you!

Specification: we need them as common MM branches linked to the respective web addresses, and not as IDs. The last would be simple, but not useful. In fact, we need the same kind of result we would obtain draging one weblink from the browser to MM, but this for all bookmarks.

Hmm, copy/pasting all at once doesn't really give the desired result and opening the file in MindManager directly (which works for most XML-files) throws an unknown XML-error.

It might be possible by writing a custom import template for aHa!Coaching's aHa!XLS Import add-in, but this would only be worth if it is a process that needs to be repeated. Otherwise, copy pasting and then putting the hyperlinks in the right placed might be the best way.

Hi Mathieu, and thanks for your thoughts.

The process needs to be repeated three times only, because of three different bookmark sources. Copy and paste will not work. As I said hundreds of bookmarks, I've understated. In fact we talk about 3418 Bookmarks. So one by one doesn't make sense. And it should be better a selective import, hence folder by folder or similar, to have groups of them in different files. All 3418 Bookmarks as branches in a single file would probably kill MM or make it slowly. I'm afraid, MM will cannot help.

I think MM should offer such a bookmark import functionality.
