Improved Synchronization with Excel

"It will be a great feature that if we can have a sort of'binding' between topics/subtopic in the map and cells in the Excel spreadsheet. Such that the we could select cells from the Excel that become topics/subtopics (hierarchical) in the map and you could 'refresh' this binding and if cells/content in the cells change, the maps changes (add/delete topics/subtopics or change text etc). I needed this (I am sure there will be other in the same need) as spreadsheet is my 'working document' and the map is my aggregation/presentation document. Now I have to manually synch them up every time I make change in the spreadsheet."

Ah, yes. I've just posted a similar topic/question. To be able to import topic and sub-topic data from Excel would be very valuable, to be able to export it out (as is done with Project) would be wonderful too. In fact, exporting out to excel in levels (new column for each level of sub-topic) would be just great.

Isn't this possible with the Table or Outline options in Excel export, or am I missing something...?
