Integration with domain specific applications are available as specific add-ins.

See for instance the salesforce dot com a

Or see the addin Itara in germany made for MS CRM several years ago.

Those addins are in my experience only succesful if dedicated to the needs of one client. So either it has to be an extremely flexible add-in, or it is done in a small project.

We in Holland, and many of our colleagues in Germany and UK offer services thta provide that.

I only want to link the CRM elements to a map. Do this work?

If you just want a link and the CRM element has an unique URL, you can use hyperlinks (copy the URL and paste as hyperlink to a topic).

Is there a way to get it to autoupdate the topics though? So that someone can see say if a new stage of the deal is populated?

A hyperlink links to the latest version of the document or CRM info.
Your map is always uptodate in that way.
However, If you have needs beyond that, commission your own add-in and the options are many.
