iPad Sync issue

I was working on a mindmap on my iPad, that was located on Dropbox. I didn't close the file so the changes weren't synced back, and I have since updated the same mindmap from my Mac. Upon opening the mindmap on my iPad today, I was informed of the conflict, but when I tried to save the local version (I had a copy of the mac-edited one), the iPad app crashed. Now, I am unable to either view the locally saved file, or browse Dropbox from the iPad application, despite being able to access Dropbox from my Mac.

Is there any way I can recover this locally restored file and reestablish access to Dropbox?

Hi Matt. Thank you for your inquiry. I have notified our product team of your issue. We have seen some similar issues occur and are keeping track of them as well as investigating further. Our team is working on a update that we hope will resolve this issue. Until then, I would recommend that you work on your maps locally until this issue gets resolved.

Is there any way I can recover the local version of the file that was being saved in DropBox - I can see it is still there as it is ready for synchronisation, but there is no way to view it?

Hi Matt. I have spoken to our technical support team and they have indicated that we cannot recover the data. We backup our data on a nightly basis and the backup will only backup what is stored on our servers. As I mentioned, we are investigating this further. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience while we sort this matter out.
