Is it posible to view topic notes for two objects at the same time

I want to compare two topic notes to avoid duplication of text in different Objects. any suggestions ?

Nice idea. I needed this myself several times when writing a book / report. This is what I found and how I had to do it.

It is not -yet- possible to have 2 or more topic notes screens open at the same time.

But to compare the text you could copy the text and place them in your map. (the text becomes a topic) now you can see and edit many of those at  the same time.

And to move them back into notes you can use the Subtopics to Notes function in the MAP addin
Try it  to find out if it is good enough for you.

Ctrl+H to use the search and replace tool.  This strategy would be OK for a phrase but may not be that convenient for a paragraph.  You can have it Look in Notes and ignore other elements.

Another option would be to publish the map as an HTML 5 file. You can then open this in your browser and compare a topic note in the HTML 5 version with another one on the original map. Of course you can only edit topic notes in the actual map rather than the HTML one.

You should update the published version after editing each topic note if you are planning to compare and edit more than one set of topic notes.
