Is it possible to automatically assign marker?

I want to be able to avoid using the mouse and enter by keyboard a task then have MM automatically assign it a marker.

So for example:
I type "email Fred" and it automatically attaches the marker email to the topic.

Or I write:
"Go to the store today" and it automatically attaches a due date of today.

Thanks.

I think it would be difficult to do this and avoid using the mouse entirely, but there are ways to reduce the number of mouse clicks involved.

After you have entered all the topics you could filter the map to find all those containing the word "email". Then you could add the icon you want to all the selected topics from the marker index.

To simplify matters you could save a Power Filter with the word "email" as the criterion, which you could call up from the Power Filter icon on the ribbon with two or three clicks. If you already have the marker index tab open it would then be only one extra click on the appropriate icon to add it to all the topics.

You can also do the same to add the due date of today but this would require having the Task Info tab open instead. You would filter the map for the word "today" then click on the Due Date on the Task Info tab to open the calendar. You would then click on Today to add the due date to all the relevant topics.

Another option would be simply to save a topic with the phrase "Email to:" and the appropriate icon as a map part which you could then add to maps with one click. It is more difficult to do this for tasks with today as the date, though.
