Hi,

in project or primavera it is possible to create a Hammock Task.
The duration of the hammock task depends on other activities.
Is it possible to create something like this with MM?

Yes, you could do this by using the 'Roll up Task Info' functionality as I've done here on the 'Phase 1' branch. Is this something you could use?

Hi Mathieu,

thanks for your answer.

The roll up task is a good approach, but not exactly what I mean.
What can I do if I have two phases and I have "Action 1" in both phases and now I want to know how long is the period of time until both "Action 1" are/were finished?

It's an interesting question... not something that can be done in MindManager right now?

I tried it this way:

I created a separate summary task (roll up) with two milestones.
Then I connected Action 1 from Phase 1 via SS-dependency to the first milestone.
After that I connected Action 1 from Phase 2 via FF-dependency to the second milestone.

This works for analyzing the date range, but the duration is not correct because the milestones have 0 duration.

If I set the duration of the both fake milestones to 1 day then the date range of the endpoint shows 2 days. If the range of the Hammock Task is longer than 1 day it works.

But if the date range of the Hammock task is only one day then the duration is 2 days!?
