Is there a low limit on a number when calculating a number?

I am using MindManager for some basic fault tree analysis.  Something I have been after for some years now and didn't realise we could do multiplication in Topic Data.  Fantastic.  But I note that if the result is too small, it revers to a 0 and the 0 caries forward in subsequent parent calculations.  Example: EventFrequency has a value of 1, Probability has a value of 0.000001 will give a Result = 0.000001.  If on the other hand the EventFrequency has a value of 0.1 the result will be 0.
My question is . . . is this a hard limit?  Can this be fixed?
I can work around by increasing everything by 1000 and know the result is 1000 times higher than it should be.
