I'm trying to open an OPML file using MindJet 10 for Mac, created/exported using OmniOutliner Professional. Is opening OPML files supported in MindJet?

I'd like to round trip edit the files as part of my standard workflow with OmniOutliner and MindNode but hope to use MindJet instead moving forward...

Hi Matt,

We only support export to OPML on Mindjet 10 Mac (not import).

I am switching this to a suggestion so others in the community can comment or vote on the suggestion.

Thanks for the quick response Terry. As a heads-up I've moved to MindNode Pro for sometime now on the Mac and iPad (keeping up with MindJet licensing all along) because of MNs ability to participate in my round trip editing workflow. In particular, the one I describe in the original post.

I do like the richness of MindJet maps and want to work there but won't given the lack of these features; especially given the price of MJ. Given the feature, however, I may (no probably would) come back...

Take care,

-Matt

Same here. I will also go for an app capable of editing .opml, not even export/import, such as NovaMind. My workflow includes apps other than mind mapping and is already complicated enough.

As an additional note, I cannot quite grasp MJ pricing options.
- First, price is the same for Windows and Mac versions, although the latter is capable of less than half the features of the former.
- Secondly, for education use it sells for almost double the price in Spain than in the UK.

It would be useful if the Windows version of Mindjet could import and export OPML files as well.
