Hi!

Currently, five years after this initial thread question, SVG has become a standard vectorial image format. Many Mind Map programs (e.g. Freeplane, Xmind, SimpleMind) export SVG images.

The advantage of SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is the image "scalability without changing the image quality; [also] it’s possible to view the contents of the SVG file in any browser" (https://www.logaster.com/blog/svg/). You could even export from MindManager and keep editing each node and relationship detail in a dedicated image/vector editing program (e.g. Corel Draw, Inkscape). Also, you could import the SVG into Microsoft Office, and many other programs.

All formats exported with image quality by MindManager are raster (e.g. PNG, JPG, BMP), then they can't be either edited further (at object level) or resized without having quality loses. The vectors formats handled by MindManager are low quality (wmf, emf).

By chance does anyone know or Corel could give a position if at least SVG "export" is in MindManager roadmap?

Thanks!

I wish to export to SVG files from MindManager directly to other tools. My clients can embed svg files which we've created for their assignment and customize to fit their needs
