In Mindjet 2016 select File from the menu
Select Share
Select the format you want to save the file (example "Export to Word", "Export as and Image", etc)

That will allow you to have full document in MSWord or explore parts of the map as an image to include your word document.

All the best,

Thanks for your response.
I tried this out but the maps burst out and become disorganized when i export them to Word.

When exploring to Word, experiment with the different features to get the indenting and bullets to reflect the logic of the map.

For a much more interactive approach, try exporting the file as website.

I have tried the interactive PDF format and users often tell me than cannot open the file.  However, it does work well.

With pdf it was fine. It displays the map in pdf with a mindjet flash player add-in. It displays fine in pdf, but I lose the point to embed them. I have to use two different documents. One word document and pdf for map.
Thanks for your idea, to try and explore other options and features while exporting to Word.

I think images work best as there is no embedding server available for MindManager files as there is for Excel etc.

Images and screen shots work but the actual pleasure of a map that you feel inside the MindManager is lost when exporting or using images :/

If you want an interactive feel of the Mindmap, try exploring to HTML.  The software does create an excellent website with supporting interactive mindmap.

In addition to the suggestion of Jerry, you may consider share (export) to SWF.
That is a clickable viewer that you can embed in a website.
This is also a fine feature.

And ofcoure you can go to the View Tab and then under Presentation select auto create slides.
With these Slides you can export to powerpoint and or play a slideshow.

Remember that if somebody donwloads a free trial, it will trun into a free reader after 30 day's.
We have made many of our contacts happy with that one.

I would be very happy to have a capability to copy a map (or its part) to clipboard and paste it to Word/Excel/PowerPoint using Paste Special as per two following options.

In the result the nice maps would be pasted in vector format without quality loss, that will be then propagated to PDFs and other exports.

Does it make sense?
