Jelly bean or Nexus 7 specific problem: on my nexus 7 only when I open a file it shows the centeral node and legs going out but nothing else, looks like a stick man :-( works great on all my other androids using 4.0 and 2.3

Exactly as described on N7. Sometimes the nodes come back (e.g. after switching between apps) but it's making Mindjet unusable.

Just want to third this motion. Same symptoms, same android version, same device, same work around but as said, is too annoying to use realistically at present.
I'd advise that you pay attention to the Nexus 7 because it's not just another android device amongst the many. It's looking to be a pretty big seller. It got just the right size/weight ratio to make Mind Mapping on the move practical.

This is true in all jelly bean. I have placed jelly bean on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus and I have a Nexus 7. Both are experiencing the same problem.
Problem occurs regardless of what is the default file type and the type of file it is opening (I tried all three)
Additionally, the old Thinking Space Pro v3.4 is experiencing the same bug ;-(
WORKAROUND. Just double tap the center node so that you can edit the text, then touch anywhere else on the screen and all the text reappears.
If even the central node is missing, go to the wrench Icon, tap the menu option (the one on the bottom) and choose "expand all) or "collapse all."
Often while adding nodes, the problem recreates itself... very disorientating..
Here is a slightly comical screenshot of the problem

I also have been experiencing the same problem on my tablet running jelly bean. I have the same workaround by double clicking on whatever node is visible but this gets very annoying as it happens often.
