Is there a shortcut to create lines with right angles?

When creating a relationship, I want the lines to have right angles, but holding down CTRL or SHIFT when dragging the handles doesn't do anything a la PowerPoint.

Also, is there a way to align relationship arrows (i.e. create a flow diagram where the relationship arrows are perfectly straight and centered perfectly in the middle of the subtopic)?

There is no shortcut to create angled lines. But you can use a style template to define the format of the relationships.
In the styletemplate you select the relationship and edit its format (angled line, color, weight etc). You save the changes in the styletemplate.
For every map that uses that styletemplate the relationships are created in the format you want.

You can only align relationships by dragging the yellow blocks.

Thanks, but what I meant about wanting a "shortcut" to create right-angles and centered, straight lines was if there is a way for the anchor points on the line to "snap-to" a right angle. From what I see, the only way to create a straight line or right-angle is to drag the yellow anchor points until the line "appears" straight or the angle "appears" to be 90 deg, but if you add another topic somewhere, the line moves slightly and affects the straightness of the line and the consistency of the angle.

Does anyone know if this is different for the 2012 version of MindManager? Thanks.

No, in all versions - also in MM2012 - you only can align the lines by dragging the yellow anchor points.
