Hello guys,

iam new to this mindmap programm (before Mindmanager i tried XMind, it did not have the feature i wanted/needed)...

Here is a pciture of my example project:

http://abload.de/image.php?img=mindmap8vk3n.jpg

What do i want to do?

In this Picture you see a chart, called "Customers". In this chart i want to create a list with companies, that offer product ABC, the product can bear XXX bar pressur and other stuff...

I want to link each company to a branch tree in the "Market Segment" Tree and in the Application tree.

Example:

Company GAT should be linked to:

Blade Pitch Control (from the Application Tree and the Wind Power Branch) and to the Energy branch from the "Market Segment" Tree.

Why do i want to do this?

Because if i do a presentation or somthing like that, if i show this to other people and i want to focus on one of the companies, i dont want to have arrows all over the screen from all the linked branches to the whole company list.

I really hope, its understandable what i had written :).

If there are other or better solutions, please let me know!!

Thank you and kind regards from germany

You could use markers or even nametags for each product and then markerindex to filter out what you need.
That is the way most companies with similar requests do it

I agree with Ary's suggestion. I'd create a text tag group of company names and make it non mutually exclusive as obviously each topic could have more than one company.

After adding the relevant company text tags to the topics, I would then use the power filter to filter by each company name and save the queries under the relevant company name, which will make it easier to call up the queries during presentations. You could even create a slide for each filtered company name in MM or export to Powerpoint.
