Once sensitive information is entered into the map, it cannot be copied or transferred to any other application.

When you say entered in the map do you mean as topic text or as a file attachment or a link? What exactly would you like to lock? Select pieces of data or the whole map?

I mean that once the information is placed within the map, I can lock it and no one can make changes.

Example: If I have made one decision at one point in time, I don't want me or anyone else to accidentally write over it at a later date. I want to store that idea as a record. So I would like to lock down that specific topic so it's housed within the map.

But you need the password to view the map.

Export the map to the Viewer or the web to give others a read only view of the map.
