Hello,

In the past I develop some macros for older version of Mindmanager.

Now I try to run this macros with MM2016 but the macros cant access Excel anymore.

Can somebody Support me with an simple macro where one cell from an Excel file creates a topic in MM2016?

I think I need a different basic configuration for the macros of MM2016 to Access Excel.

Thanks and regards

Reiner

Why not switch to the latest release? We are on MM 2018 right now.

And then the macros will run?

Or do you have a solution?

Have you tried using the "Send to MindManger" add-ins in Excel? It copies the selected cells to the map as a embedded spreadsheet in a topic. It uses the native functionality of the tools so that a macro may not be needed. However, I am not sure if that is the effect you would like.

Could it be that some references to Excel are not set? See Edit > References in the Macro Editor

I was just able to create a macro which appends the text of a selected topic note with the text of an active spreadsheet cell (which is something basic that will be very useful to me).

Adding a topic with the cell text is very short hop from that functionality.

I think that Mathieu is on the right track, as long as you can the reference excel object library.
