Managing tasks

We are using MM to for company wide planning and want to add tasks to resources across numerous maps. Currently we manage all tasks via Microsoft Planner (good mobile app and views) so how can we get tasks exported to planner? and assign them? 
HAs anyone developed code to achieve this solution?
So a users own tasks (not in MM can be added to their planner and they see a consolidated cross platform task list in 1 place. 
Surely others wrestle with cross platform task consolidation right?
