Just a suggestion about map export... you should enable an expost option to Word, Excel or Powerpoint.

Thanks!"

I think this is particularly useful for those people who are not yet ready to adopt Mindmanager. The comfort zone for these people is usually Microsoft Office applications. [from Anonymous]

"It's not about comfort zone but about usability, what can I do with my map which I can't export. My standard usage scenario is
1. build a map
2. export to excel, word, etc
3. add additional info of format, etc" [from K.Zych]

"Especially Word outlines would be an important exchange format. I mean as well the export as also the import. The import, because people which don't own MM would be able to quicker transform their thoughts into maps.

Word Outlines are also important because many other applications are able to save their data in this format. So much many user would be able to do things with Connect, even user which don't own MS Word." [from mentalwaves]

Absolutely. I use mindmanager to put together speaking notes, but the map format doesn't work very well with that. I miss the old export to powerpoint capability. The new version doesn't fill the bill. (Mike Garner)

define the branches you like to export to PPT with right-click as a slide and your export will work. that's it.

As a pastor of a church, I use MindManager (and have for years) to put together speaking notes. Since we lost the PowerPoint export that used to be, I now export to Microsoft Word. However, I have to continually edit the Word template for the export. And, after it gets to Word, I still have to do considerable editing. The original PowerPoint export was considerably more functional and took much less time to format for final use.

lots of enthusiasm for export to PPT. Interesting.

Has anyone checked out Connect's Import from Word, Export to Word feature?
