Microsoft Project Dates Importing Incorrectly

I have attempted to import a Microsoft Project 2010 file into MindManager. When I look at the created mindmap the dates are not the same as in the project file. I am using auto scheduling in project. I have not attempted to fix the dates prior to import as I would expect the imported file to reflect the original project schedule.

Unfortunately MindManager attempts to "fix" dates at the earliest opportunity. It is now longer a project modelling tool as it was in versions 7 and before in combination with MS Project and JVC Gantt.

Personally, I gave up on using the Project Planning feature in Mindjet. I use Mindjet to get the group to work through the project elements. Then I export the map to a proper scheduling software program and deal with the dates and assignments.

Mindjet is too unstable to put the hard work of the group in the hands of the software.

As I have noted else where on the forum. Mindjet 2012 is interesting yet not stable enough for business application.
