Mindjet Files mapping

Please consider enhancing Mindjet Files to behave as a map.  Rather than a linear, indented list of folders, which currently have to be linked or attached to map items, the folder and file hierarchy would themselves be map items.  Files and folders could be dragged between parent folders, etc.  Files or folders could be uploaded into existing folders or as free map items to be placed in folders later.  Double clicking a file would open it in its native application.

I'm interested, what would be the added value of this?

Maybe another question to ask is "After Mindjet has developed this superior alternative to the old  indented list, why does they use an indented list for Mindjet Files?"  Imagine Windows File Explorer as a mindmap, enabling organization and communication of files just as we use MindManager to organize ideas.

For the submission of a medical product to the Food and Drug Administration I am organizing a Design History File, consisting of hundreds of Word, Excel, PDF, JPG, and other file types documenting the development of the product.  I am doing this with a very large mindmap, linking files to map items.  It would be much faster and easier to map the files directly.

I'm sure there are many people who would appreciate the ability to organize and share their hundreds of files with a mind-mapping user interface.
