If you want to sync MIndManager topics with evernote or dropbox you should investigate all the options you have with Zapier.
That works fine for me - most of the time ;-)

I don't understand.... When I have a floating topic in my map I am able to use most keyboard shortcuts.
At least all that I tested work fine.

The benefit of a floating topic to me is that it is FLOATING so I am able to place and drag it to any location in my map.

I think Ricky means that he wants to insert a floating topic using only a keyboard shortcut and indeed this doesn't seem possible. I think the issue is that until you right click on a vacant part of the map with the mouse, MindManager simply doesn't know where to put the floating topic - and when you right click you get the context menu anyway, which includes the Insert Floating Topic command.

It's different when you press Insert or Enter, even if you haven't highlighted a topic in the map. MM assumes by default that you have selected the central topic and adds a main topic.

Incidentally I think there may be a minor bug in the help system. If you click on Help on the ribbon, then MindManager Help and select Keyboard Shortcuts you are taken to the Welcome to MindManager page in Help, rather than directly to the keyboard shortcuts page.
