Mindjet 14 is not working

My new Mindjet install on a new Win 8.0 Dell inspiron laptop stopped working.  All I got is an immensely unhelpful "Mindjet 14 has stopped working"  and Windows closes it down.  It did work long enough for me to create some useful mindmaps, but now repair doesn't work and re-download/ reinstall doesn't work - same error.  What's going on?  It's an expensive licence that I can't use!

I was experiencing suspicious crashes on my Win 8 when I upgraded to MindManager 14. Disabling all background "Topic Alerts" services in MindJet Options seems to help. If you don't use topic alerts, give it a try

Thanks for that - I was hoping to use alerts,  but then I was hoping to use MM14!  I'll try that and let you know if it works.

Our Support Team can walk you through the steps of completely removing the application and then re-installing. The repair feature in Windows does not remove the App Data preferences or Registry entries.
