Mindjet Connect Failed During a Virtual Session

I did a live virtual facilitation today online using Mindjet Connect.

I was professionally humiliated by the portal.

To be specific.

a) When my team connected to the map using open | Co-edit, within 5 minutes the map was frozen. With only two people online, we could co-edit the map, collaborate or do anything.

b) When the map was opened in read only, it failed to function (branches would not open or close) after five minutes of use.

I just go this client to buy into Mindjet. They were not impressed by the extremely poor functioning of the portal.

If two professionals cannot get it to work for collaboration, how will it work with five to ten people logged in collaborating.

Given we are running Windows 7 on a high speed connection, I simply don't understand.

Now here is the question - Does Mindjet have a quality control program. The bugs and problems keep mounting with little or not response with solid fixes.

This really needs to be fixed.

Please fix it.

Hi Jerry,

I know that Brittney has kicked off an internal process to gather more information so that we can better characterize and understand what my have contributed to the unacceptable service that you and your colleagues recently experienced.

With that said, let me first apologize for the trouble and humiliation that this has caused you. At Mindjet we do have a process to ensure that we build and ship quality products and services. However, with Connect we are still learning how the service performs for different users, under different conditions. Honestly, while we've had other issues recently, we've not recently heard of many co-editing issues like what you described above.

That said, I've shared your post with members of our engineering team. Presently they are focused on other issues but I suspect your experience may somehow be related. That said, please do work with our team to gather more information about your situation as this will help us identify root cause(s) and enable us to implement the appropriate fixes.

Sorry again for you pain and frustration and please do keep reporting these issues. We do appreciate the clear and candid feedback.
